Pair of Victorian Staffordshire GREYHOUNDS WITH RABBITS Mantle Statues
An absolutely marvelous pair of rare Greyhound mantle dogs. Staffordshire is most commonly thought to produce only their infamous mantle Spaniel-dogs. However, these hunting Greyhounds were also made! I have them listed here for a fraction of the cost you’ll find them listed on ebay for.
Posing with their caught rabbits and black collars, these two have a regal poise about them if ever!
From the 1800’s. Appear to be marked “57214” on the bottom of each.
Paint is immaculate with little to no wear to note!
Not a single chip or scratch, either!
Measurements: approximately 8.75” tall (just under 9”)
STUNNING!
